There were so many great shows by the Allman Brothers Band this summer that - after much discussion - we found it impossible to narrow it down to the traditional 10 concerts for the El Grande package.  So, we've expanded it this time to 12 shows for the price of 10!  Besides the 6 shows in the West’s Best, this deluxe package features 6 more that are the best of the best for 2007.  The 8/7 Boston show offers a 14-minute “Good Morning Little Schoolgirl” and Susan Tedeschi sits in on “Lost Lover Blues” and “Anyday.”  The 8/11 Raleigh show has plenty of great music, but the amazing sequence of “Mountain Jam>Smokestack Lightning>Mountain Jam” makes this a keeper.  The 8/17 Camden show is yet another great one from the Ratdog run, with Bob Weir sitting in on “Franklin’s Tower” and great versions of “Black Hearted Woman” and “Elizabeth Reed.”

The 8/24 Clarkston show is a real gem.  A rare version of “Firing Line” and stellar extended jams on “No One To Run With” and “Jessica” are highlights, but Robert Randolph sitting in for an incredible “Turn On Your Lovelight>One Way Out” encore may be the best part of the show.  The 8/26 Milwaukee show opens and closes with “Mountain Jam” and has great versions of “Smokestack Lightning” and “Highway 61 Revisited,” both of which were only played twice this summer.  The 9/8 Atlanta show was a historic return to Piedmont Park, and the band lived up to their history with powerful versions of “Hot’Lanta” and “Hoochie Coochie Man.”  The show roars to the finish line with a great run of “Elizabeth Reed>JaMaBuBu>Mountain Jam” before the “Whipping Post” encore wraps up the show in style.

For set list info please see the individual shows.  This package will ship via UPS right to your door, with an adult signature required, so be sure to send it to an address where you can sign for it or indicate in the "order comments" section if you want it left without a signature.
