For years now, we have been doing a limited edition set of Allman Brothers Band Christmas ornaments, and the 2010 edition may be the coolest yet. Each ornament is hand-painted, numbered and signed by the artist, making them true collector's items. There are only 250 in this year's limited edition batch, and if the past is any indication, they will go fast. Click here to get yours now!

It's been years since we offered a jacket, but some things are worth waiting for. In celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band, a small quantity of embroidered jackets are being made! This high quality jacket is made of soft suede with the classic bomber style design. Features two side pockets, front zipper closure, elastic waist with an elastic collar, nylon quilted lining and two tone scheme. Click here to order one today!

The new Derek Trucks Shadow T is a very special addition to our collection of Derek Trucks merchandise! It was developed by the Topo Ranch Company out of California and this is no ordinary T-shirt! It's a classic Derek Trucks silhouette image on a super soft antique black t-shirt that is wringer washed for an incredibly soft vintage feel that will fit the same two years from now as the day you bought it. All seams are clean finished and neck is taped with contrast stitching. Click here to order.

On a similar note, the cold weather outside makes the gray long sleeve shirt a sure-fire winner for the winter months. Warm and cozy, with just the right hint of color in the logo to set off the gray. This comfortable, loose-fitting shirt is the clothing equivalent of comfort food! Click here to order one now.

40th Anniversary T-shirts on Sale!
Most of the 40th anniversary tour shirts are now on sale at over 25% off. You can only have one 40th anniversary and when these shirts are gone, they are gone for good! Be sure to grab one to remember what a great year this has been! Also check out our Ludlow Garage Sale Category for more items on sale!

New Jeff Wood Posters!
If somebody you love is a poster aficionado, we have no shortage of gift options from Jeff Wood and the good folks at Drowning Creek Studios. Jeff created six separate posters for the Allman Brothers 40th Anniversary Tour, and while one of them is sold out, for a limited time we are offering a special "Poster Pack" with all five remaining posters for the price of four. These are limited-edition, old-school screen prints, with the exception of the dynamic 3-D poster, which is created with a cutting-edge process called lenticular printing. All five posters are also available individually while supplies last, which won't be for long. Click here to order the 40th Anniversary Poster Pack. If you have already ordered any of the posters included in the set from Hittin' the Note we will be happy to deduct them from the purchase price of the package.

In addition to the ABB/WSP posters Jeff has also been busy created some hot new poster art for Derek Trucks, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, The Wakarusa Music Festival, Gathering of the Vibes Music Festival, Reggae on the River Festival in beautiful, green Humboldt County, CA, Bear Creek Music Festival and for the Zac Brown Band benefit for the Georgia Theatre at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. Check 'em out in more detail by clicking here - you'll be glad you did!

New Gregg Allman Merch and Tour!
We also have several new items of Gregg Allman merchandise for the GA fans out there. The new midnight rider T-shirt is one of the best we have seen in a long time! The sharp hat with the mushroom logo is a great addition, and Gregg now has everything from drink coozies to keychains. Click here to get something for the midnight rider on your list! ABB Live CDs and Summer Set 2009!

The 40th Anniversary magic of the Allman Brothers Band certainly didn't stop at the Beacon Theatre in March. This was an exceptional year for fans of the best damn band in the land. From start to finish, the 38 smoking-hot live shows from May through October are the living proof! You can order each show individually or as a full collection, referred to as the Summer Set 2009.

The 2009 Summer Set is comprised of 38 concerts with a total of 81 CDs at a cost of $10.48 per CD plus a free, custom made collector's box in a similar style to the Beacon Box plus a three CD Widespread/Brothers compilation - but wait there's more - everyone ordering this special package will also receive a free subscription to Hittin' the Note magazine!

From the West Coast run in May, to the Mountain Jam and Wanee Festivals, to two action-packed tours with Widespread Panic, it's all here. Every bent note, every sweet singing slide, every legendary Gregg Allman vocal, every overpowering rhythmic crescendo is captured in soundboard fidelity, remixed and remastered for your listening pleasure. This is the undeniable sound of the greatest live band in rock history, hittin' the note from May through October.

One of the many highlights of this year was seeing the members of the Allman Brothers Band and Widespread Panic jam with each other frequently on the two runs they did together. It was a very special pairing that brought two of the best bands to ever come out of the South together on an historic run for the ages. With this collection you will hear all the guest sit-ins that took place during the Brother's performances. And, as a special bonus, everyone who orders the Summer Set will get a three-disc compilation of memorable Panic performances featuring members of the ABB. From Gregg singing "Turn On Your Lovelight" at the 9/1/09 Chicago show, to the amazing "Time Is Free" from Birmingham on 10/9/09 with Derek and Oteil, to Warren's incredible performance with Widespread on "Cortez the Killer" at the 10/17/09 show, this is more than three hours of Panic at their best...with a little help from their friends.

With all the Beacon madness, and the fact that the tour ran so late this year, we probably won't have these sets ready to ship until around mid December at the earliest, so we can't guarantee delivery for Christmas. However, we will do our best, and we should be shipping these by the beginning of January at the latest. To find out more information and to order please click here or on the images to the left.

Ring In The New Year With The Yonrico Scott Band!

Atlanta area music fans were disappointed to hear recently that Derek Trucks was taking a well-deserved break from playing his annual New Year's Eve show at the Fox Theatre. Even so, that doesn't mean you have to sit at home on NYE and watch the ball drop on TV. The Yonrico Scott Band will ring in 2010 in style at the Five Spot in Atlanta, right down the street from Variety Playhouse, and we hope to see you there!

Besides the jazzy, funky and all-around good music of the YSB, this show features the one and only Laura Reed and Deep Pocket. We reviewed their last CD in Hittin' the Note, so some of you may already be aware of their music, but if not, you need to get hip! Laura is an incredible vocalist, and the soulful sounds of Deep Pocket are the perfect complement to the Yonrico Scott Band. Laura took most of 2009 off with a new baby, so this is a sort of comeback gig for her and she is ready to play!

And of course, the rock solid rhythm section of Yonrico Scott and Todd Smallie, along with the multi-talented Kofi Burbridge, are always sure to please. If you haven't seen these great players outside of the Derek Trucks Band, you are really missing out. Everything from Wayne Shorter and Herbie Hancock jazz tunes to hard-hitting funk are in their repertoire, and whatever they play, they play with the same musical intelligence, dynamics and energy that they bring to Derek's band.

Wanee Returns To April!
We are delighted to announce that the 2010 Wanee Music Festival will be held Friday April 16th and Saturday April 17th at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL! This is one of our favorite events, and you can be sure that HTN will be there in force! Also, don't miss the "Wanee Kick-Off Party" which will be held on Thursday, April 15th. Last year's kickoff party featured great performances from The Radiators and Bobby Lee Rodgers, so get there early and get your groove on! Last year's Wanee Festival nearly doubled the attendance of the previous year, and 2010 is looking to be even more exciting! The line-up for this year's show and on-sale information for tickets and packages will be announced soon. For more information, be sure to check out

Join us at as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Allman Brothers Band all year long!
